Chef Elizabeth Johnson, Chef Founder of Pharm Table, Apothecary Kitchen. In a virtual demonstration, Chef Johnson will prepare Cilantro Coconut Guacamole & Mesquite Pecan Horchata. We will discuss the types of ingredients that are actually "cooling" for the body, and aid in the reduction of toxins during the hot summer months. Sip on a refreshing and fragrant Mesquite Pecan Horchata featuring native Texas ingredients that provide high levels of polyphenols, healthy fats and a lower glycemic index than rice. Salud!!
